Experience the captivating artistry of Romanian virtuoso George Todica, whose mesmerising touch on the piano keys has earned him international acclaim and a dedicated following. Known for his passionate interpretations and expressive performances, Todica has graced some of the most prestigious stages around the world, from the iconic Wigmore Hall in London to the splendid Mozarteum Concert Hall in Salzburg.

Born in the land of George Enescu, Todica's journey to classical music excellence began in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, culminating in an Artist Diploma from the Royal College of Music in 2019. His devotion to his craft led to a well-deserved debut at the Wigmore Hall as a Tillett Trust Young Artist in 2018.

Todica's mastery has been acknowledged with first prizes at the illustrious Norah Sande Award in England and the Moray Piano Competition in Scotland, and the 2nd prize at the International George Enescu. His performance shone brightly at the International Piano Campus Competition in France and the International Piano Competition in Istanbul, earning him more coveted prizes.

For the upcoming concert, George Todica has prepared a programme that is as diverse as it is compelling. It ranges from the meditative lyricism of Scarlatti's Piano Sonata in A major to the profound depths of Rachmaninov's Variations on a theme of Corelli, Op 42. Immerse yourself in the elegant simplicity of Mozart's Piano Sonata No 8 in A minor, and let your heart be moved by the melodious tribute of Ravel's Pavane pour une infante défunte. Romanian and French influences echo through Enescu's Suite No 2 for Piano, and the concert comes to a sparkling finale with Chopin's expansive Andante Spianato et Grande Polonaise Brillante.

We are excited to welcome you to this extraordinary piano concert, which promises a journey through the realms of classical piano at its finest.
